As another season of excitement, great competition, and fresh faces gets closer, Cleveland SC is gearing up for another summer in the National Premier Soccer League, and you do not want to miss out on the action!

Returning to George Finnie Stadium

For the 7th consecutive season, Cleveland SC returns to George Finnie Stadium on the campus of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, with their home opener set for May 31st and followed by two consecutive matches through the next week.

Home Opener

Cleveland SC’s home tenure will begin after a three-game road spell to kick the season off with a May 31st battle against Erie Commodores FC, a long-time rival that Cleveland has accumulated a 9-3-1 record over historically, but that is not to say the Commodores have not been a worthy opponent. 

Four of the last six meetings between the two teams have ended with a 3-2 scoreline, including last season’s thrilling encounter at Drive Morris Stadium, where a penalty kick save from Ryan Poling directly led to a linkup between Jaden Wright and Stanislav Koval to pull ahead with just 15 minutes left in the match. Following Home Matches

Cleveland SC will remain at home for the two matches after that, each against teams brand new to the Great Lakes Conference. The team will host Ambassadors FC Ohio on Wednesday, June 4th, and will finish the home spell on Saturday, June 7th, against the Buffalo Stallions.

Remaining Home Matches

Cleveland SC will return home on Saturday, June 21st, to battle Syracuse FC, another formidable new addition to the Great Lakes Conference coming from the North Atlantic.

They will have their final home match of the season the following Saturday, June 28th, against returning foes in Niagara 1812, having won their only battle against them last season at home with a stellar 6-0 victory.

The top teams in the Great Lakes Conference will qualify for the playoffs, hoping to move through the regional and eventually national stages.
