Meet Our Opponent: Southern Indiana Guardians

This is Southern Indiana’s debut season in the NPSL, led by Owner and Coach Jeremiah LeRoy and Head Coach Rens van Oostende, who has experience coaching in the KNVB First and Premier divisions in the Netherlands. The Guardians have started the season with two losses, including a 3-0 defeat to Michigan Rangers FC and a 4-3 home loss to Flower City Union. In their latest match, the Guardians had a 3-0 lead until the 32nd minute, but Flower City Union scored three goals before halftime and eventually won 4-3. The club also competes in the UPSL Gateway Division, where they have a 3-0-5 record after eight matches.

Club Notes

Under the guidance of Head Coach Joe Jovanovski, Cleveland SC seeks to continue its winning streak on the road. Following a dominant 6-0 victory over Niagara 1812, Coach Jovanovski will rely on goalkeeper Ryan Poling and the strong defense to keep opponents at bay while building on last weekend’s six-goal performance, highlighted by Stanislav Koval’s two goals.
